2023-24 Schedule 

3 year olds meet on Tuesdays and Fridays AM session meets from 8:15 am-10:15 am 

PM session meets from 10:45 am-12:45 pm 

4 year olds meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays AM session meets from 8:15 am-10:45 am 

PM session meets from 11:45 am - 2:15 pm 

First day of school for 3 year olds is Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023 

First day of school for 4 year olds is Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023*

 *This session will only be held if there is sufficient enrollment

Children entering the three year old program must be at least three years of age prior to September 1st of that school year. 

Children entering the four year old program must be four years old prior to September 1st . 

*All students are required to be fully toilet trained prior to entering Pecatonica Preschool. No pull-ups are allowed due to DCFS regulations. 

The following information is required and must be on file prior to your child(ren)’s attendance at Pecatonica Preschool: 

Registration Form: All areas are to be completed including waivers, insurance, emergency contacts and information on persons authorized to pick up your child(ren). It is crucial that this information is current. Please be sure to notify the preschool of any changes as soon as possible.

Completed Physical Exam Form: A current physical exam performed and signed by a licensed physician dated no longer than six months prior to the start of school, must be on file for each student. The exam is to include a TB MANTOUX TEST AND LEAD ASSESSMENT and a HEARING AND VISION SCREENING. If your physician did not find these tests necessary, the physician must indicate so on the form in the correct box. Also, vaccinations must be current and must include the chicken pox vaccination (Varicella). If your child has had the chicken pox disease prior to receiving the vaccination, the child’s physician must indicate this on the physical form. 

Forms must be received prior to the first day of school so teachers have time to review prior to the school year. 

Birth Certificate: A copy of the student’s birth certificate is also required per DCFS regulations. This copy does not have to be certified however it must be the legal birth certificate not a keepsake. 

Verification Receipt: A signed verification receipt of the DCFS publication titled “Summary of Licensing Standards for Day Care Centers” 

No personal information will be released without prior written guardian consent. 

Financial Policies / Fee Schedule

 Pecatonica Preschool is a non-profit, self-supporting corporation licensed by the State of Illinois under the Department of Children and Family Services and governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. The preschool is not affiliated with any church organization or public school system. All fees collected will be used for the operation of the preschool. Those fees include teacher salaries, rent, utilities, food, supplies, liability insurance, equipment/maintenance and continuing education for the staff. 

Required tuition and fees for the following school year are as follows: 

$50 registration fee at the time of enrollment. THIS FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE. If Pecatonica Preschool is unable to offer the child a spot in any class during the specified year than a refund will be made of the $50 registration fee. However, refunds are not given if the preferred class time is not available or the family opts to withdraw the child. 

$35 supply fee is necessary so that each student can have their own materials in the classroom for the school year. This will be due at registration and is nonrefundable.  

Tuition is $115 per month for the 3 year old program (2 days per week) and $145 per month for the 4 year old program (3 days per week). September’s tuition is due at Registration Night. Subsequent payments are to be paid by the 15th of each month (September 15th thru April 15th). Tuition is nonrefundable.  

A one-time snack fee, to be collected at Registration Night, is $50 for the 4 year-old program and $40 for the 3 year- old program. The snack fee will only be waived if the child has a food allergy that requires the parents to supply a separate snack due to medical reasons.
