Yes, we are DCFS licensed and it is a requirement that children attending be fully toilet trained.

My child turns 3 during the school year, can I enroll them after their birthday?

This is a very common question that has been discussed at length during board meetings.  Pecatonica Preschool will continue to           follow  the public school date of September 1.  If a child turns 3 mid-school year they could be in class with other children over 12           months  older leading to a large range of maturity levels.  In fairness to the children and families we want to ensure that the teachers     attention  is distributed evenly across the students.

Does my child need a physical and/or vaccinations?

Yes. Exam must be dated no more than 6 months prior to the start of school and include TB Montoux test and a lead assessment. All        vaccinations must be current including the Chicken Pox vaccination (Varicella).
